'Maggi Hambling: Making Love with the Paint’

A BBC2 documentary on the artist’s life and work, now also on BBC4 and iPlayer
This new BBC-commissioned documentary by the award-winning director Randall Wright  was first shown in October 2020, and it is currently available to view here: BBC iPlayer.

Originally released upon the occasion of Maggi Hambling's 75th birthday, this excellent film documents her life and work,  her close friendships and her many muses from Henrietta Moraes to George Melly and the North Sea, and documents major public commissions such as Scallop.
