An award-winning documentary short, directed by Mark Calderbank, with interview footage from Eleanor McEvoy, and words from Lloyd Cole and Chris Gollon. The film charts the second of two years of artistic boundary crossing between Gollon and McEvoy, which resulted in the song 'Gimme Some Wine'. The song in turn inspired Gollon's last great series of paintings on a theme, which are shown in the film, along with the original acoustic version of the song that inspired them. The film, released in April 2021, has won Best Documentary Short awards at IMDb-qualifying film festivals in New York, London and Milan. It will be shown at the Louder Than Words Festival, Manchester, on Saturday 13th November 2021, with a Q&A with Eleanor McEvoy and the film's producer David Tregunna.
