This bespoke mirror was commissioned for the guest bedroom in a London house. Having seen Possible Mirror’s innovative Shelf Mirrors the client requested a modified version.
The mirror was constructed to a specific size and proportion and the oak wood was coloured to match a vintage wardrobe as closely as possible. A further modification is the use of lap joints rather than standard mitred corners to reflect the construction of the wardrobe doors. The colour of the mirror frame was ‘aged’ for a closer match to the wardrobe and the shelf was fitted with a removable oak veneer plywood insert, coloured to match the mirror and wardrobe.
This mirror is 78 x 53 x 13.5 cm and weighs 5kg. It has an easy to use hanging system to ensure it is both stable and flush to the wall. This unique mirror is signed, stamped and dated on the reverse. If you would like to commission a mirror please contact us to discuss your ideas.
