This painting is an official study for the larger work ‘Einstein & The Jealous Monk (after Bob Dylan)’, which hangs with works by Francis Bacon, Henry Moore, Walter Sickert and Jacob Epstein’s bust of Einstein in the permanent collection of the Huddersfield Art Gallery, acquired by the museum in 2005.

This study is now available from the Chris Gollon Estate.
