This is the second unique art inspired mirrors which references the American artist Robert Mangold (b.1937), specifically his ‘Frame’ paintings of 1983 – 85. The first Frame Mirror in blue, orange, green and plum is in a private collection.
The asymmetrical frame is constructed in poplar wood and board. It has been hand painted in four colours using artists acrylic. Set within the frame is a 5mm bronze tinted mirror with polished edges. The reverse of the frame has been fitted with an integral split batten for easy, secure, flush wall mounting.
