oil over acrylic on canvas, painted in 2010 and originally titled ‘The Model, 3/4 Length Version’. The title was later re-thought by the artist in 2016 for his NAKED MUSIC series in collaboration with Eleanor McEvoy. ‘Lubbock Woman’ is the title of a song on the album NAKEN MUSIC that Eleanor launched in 2016 in the exhibition of Gollon paintings, inspired by the songs.  It was painted in 2010 and re-titled in 2016.

Exhibitions:

Exhibited in an exhibition entitled ‘NAKED MUSIC’ curated by IAP Fine Art in a gallery in Fitzrovia, London, in January 2016. The exhibition was the result of a collaboration between Irish singer-songwriter Eleanor McEvoy and Chris Gollon, for which Chris painted a series of new works inspired by the songs on Eleanor’s album ‘NAKED MUSIC’, which was then launched in the exhibition, with her playing live in the gallery.
