This original painting on paper is partially inspired by Chris Gollon reading Carol Ann Duffy’s book ‘The World’s Wife’, in which a woman is described as ‘Nobody’s Mam’.
Chris Gollon was a very sensitive painter of women, and he does so–as here–totally without judgement.
