Self-portraits in Chris Gollon’s oeuvre are actually quite rare, perhaps one or two per decade. However, in 2013, at the age of 60, he produced a series of five on canvas and twelve on paper. This work on paper is also a nod to an Egon Schiele hand gesture and composition.
